39 strippers arrested at Lagos Strip Club
The police in Lagos have captured 39 presumed strippers at a lodging in Idimu during Coronavirus lockdown.
They were captured on April 24 by officials of the Idimu Police Station around 1:30am, following up on trustworthy insight.
Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Bala Elkana, in an announcement on Sunday, said the suspects were captured for clubbing and stripteasing.
“This is in all out infringement of the lockdown request and social separating guidelines,” he said.
He included that that day, at about 8:30pm, authorization group from the Rapid Response Squad captured one Suleiman Abubakar, the Imam of Sheik Central Mosque, Mile 12 Ketu for holding evening supplications (Maghrib and Isha petitions) in the Mosque with an enormous number of admirers infringing upon the social separating guidelines.
“An aggregate of 288 violators of the lockdown request were throughout the end of the week, captured in various pieces of the State,” he uncovered.
As per Elkana, the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, approached inhabitants to keep on being reputable, particularly during this lockdown period.
“He cautions against spreading counterfeit news and reusing old recordings via web-based networking media with new inscriptions that propose that the occurrences occurred during the lockdown time frame in Lagos, basically to make alarm.
“The Command is exploring wellsprings of such devilish messages with a perspective on carrying the culprits to Justice. Stop the spread and be careful. Together we can stop the spread of COVID-19,” he said.
