Trump Calls Buhari, Promises To Send Ventilators To Nigeria
United States President, Donald Trump on Tuesday called President Muhammadu Buhari on phone, promising to send ventilators to Nigeria over rising coronavirus cases.
Minister of Health, Lai Mohammed disclosed this at the daily ministerial briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
According to Mohammed, Trump promised to send ventilators to Nigeria
He expressed that the gathering went on for a few minutes and that the conversation between the pioneers was focused on Nigeria’s reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“During the gathering, President Buhari utilized the chance to brief the American President on the means that Nigeria is taking to contain the spread of the illness.
“On his part, President Trump guaranteed that the United States remains in solidarity with Nigeria in this troublesome time and vowed to send ventilators to help the nation in its battle against the pandemic,” Mohammed said
